MindStar9 Banner Contest ... WINNERS Announced!!!

Thank you to everyone who took the time and effort to create and submit entries ... we have some very talented people in this community.

It was a great challenge to sort it all out and come up with a winner. Due to the fact that there was more than one banner that stood out for a number of reasons, it was decided to add a second and third place winner as well ... so here they are, along with the reasons for each choice!!!

WINNER !!!

Dannei ... Prize is --> 200 PED

Reason for choice as Winner ... it was felt that Dannei captured the essence of what was needed at the main web page with regard to advertising the storytelling feature and generating interest with the animated thought-provoking teasers. (The fact that it was purple was a plus - for me anyway.)

2nd PLACE

Lykke ... Prize is --> 75 PED

Reason for choice as 2nd Place ... it was felt that the classic book represented a nice touch to the storytelling feature, and the center of the banner could have been updated with some nice animated oneliners.

3rd PLACE

Rocax ... Prize is --> 50 PED

Reason for choice as 3rd Place ... This banner was crisp with a nice background and color scheme, as well as feeding into the type of effect needed at the main web page.

Losing a banner contest without even being mentionned in the ending credits and getting my gfx reviewed by a mulitinational coorp in a few hours time ... life is strange. Guess that'll teach me to work on a "normal" lvl lol.
