Caperon Capers (Metal Style) Friday Event

This week's event is round two of the Caperon Capers (Headbangers Style), a hunting event in domes 6 through 10 on the rock. If all goes according to plan, the music in the domes for the event will be provided by Psycho Al, so let's see all of you metal heads back on CND for this one.

The goal is to take out as many of the 'War of the Worlds' type mobs, the Caperons in Dome 6, as you can, but feel free to take on the other mobs in domes 6 through 10 as well because they all count towards the prizes. Those party crashers include Exarosaurs in dome 7, Foul, Daikiba and Tripudion in dome 8, Sabakuma and Atrax in dome 9, and Prancers in dome 10. A nice variety there for most players. Rules are simple: Highest Total Loot wins, all weapons allowed, and no pvp until the final 30 minutes, and only then if bounties are offered on specific participants.

Special Note on PvP: PKing outside of bounty time or on anyone a bounty has not been announced on should only be in self defence, otherwise it will lead to neg rep and disqualification for prizes. Personally I would not even shoot back, so no argument can be offered then that you were shooting too. If someone should PK you outside of these rules please take a screen shot, and let me know as soon as you can who the player was. I understand this behaviour upsets people, but please try to simply state in event chat who it was, and leave it to me from there. Insulting each other and bickering in event chat spoils the mood for everyone, and we are there for fun. Thanks in advance for your cooperation on this.

Discount tickets will be available for 16 ped from Urso and other members of Entropia Green Tours society, as well as possibly other sellers. ( Other sellers post here if have tickets please and where you can usually be located.)

Tickets also available of course at the dome terminal in the fertilizer room west of the control room for 20 ped. Please try to get and register your tickets early rather than in the last few minutes before the event.

These pilots have agreed to offer discount flights to all ticket holders (or those going up to buy tickets, speak to the pilot) for my events (up and back) when they are flying: Psycho Al, Creature, FoxyPilot, Deth Gray Killer, Moonfish, Ambuli, Pole, Airedale.

It's tonight folks. Worry wart that I am I see all sorts of things that may limit our numbers tonight, such as folks not hunting anymore due to vu issues, folks not flying because some pilots (and I highlight the word SOME here) have raised prices, etc. Considering all of that though I would like to put out the call to all of you to please come along and join us, and tell your mates too. These events (all events) are an important part of the game for the future, and need all the support we can give to them, because it would be a shame to lose any of them like we just lost the Weekday Warriors even though it was requested by many.
Looking forward to seeing you there, and doing some head banging in the domes.

Just to note, I am not doing after parties for all the events I do for now, just for the monthly charity event. Too many parties (events, birthdays, weddings, housewarmings, and just for fun) and too close together makes for that same old same old feeling, so some parties are packed while others have only 5 or less friends turn up. I've decided I would rather have once in awhile parties that feel a bit fresher you know, which is why this event mentions no after party. However, having said that, for all of the events, the disco is always open, as is Al's party place at Beta South, 6F, so there is nothing stopping folks from simply getting together and making an afterparty happen, Al and I just won't be hosting specifically and doing the dance contests for all of my events, just the charity one. For this event, Al will be switching on another stream when done with the music in the domes for any parties to continue the metal, and more than likely we will be dancing in 6F if anyone wants to join

The event last night went better than I expected The music provided by Psycho Al in the domes and disco (and which continued into the wee hours after the event) was perfect for head banging with the caperons, ty much Al and ND.

Our winners last night were:

Random prize winner: Thomas Kahr Krestovnikoff (50 ped to spend in Freyr's shop on CND)

We had two bounties placed, one for 50 ped on Sodi, which was claimed by Mynona Unionova Amberit, and one for 50 ped on ND, which unfortunately was not claimed simply because the victim had to log out before the bounty time got under way.
