I spent a little time on CND and only ran into 1 hostile.. though he was obviously new and was dealt with quickly... (was also attacking while fighting a mob... tsk tsk)
If I'm hunting and loots seem to be really good.. i will usually attempt to kill the other person when hes just on the move.. to protect "my" loots.. but 99/100 times if a person just says "hi"... i change directions and let them be...
whenever you see a greendot in a pvp zone.. try to initiate conversation and be polite.. it may save your life
if you are still attacked.. jump and zigzag... just make the person waste ammo... even if you were in the middle of the dome you can still make it to a tp jump-zigzagging.. time their shots.. pay attention to weapons they are using.. its easy to evade if you learn... then procede to call 'em a nub for not killing you

Hey Serenity ... sorry I missed this yesterday, what a great post. Thx for the information for SURE. I appreciate that you took the time to do it.
PvP IS what it is, and obviously it makes a game that much more exciting for some, so I don't begrudge them that at all. Maybe it's something that takes gettin' used to. Disassociating from the psychological and emotional aspect of it just takes a little doing for some ... especially when it's done in a particular contextual situation.
For example ... Moonie and I were in a svc ctr on Amethera and in the middle of a delicious storyline development ... taking pics, etc ... when we noticed a short dude walk in and go to the terminals to do his business. We said hello, but continued with what we were doing. He never said hello back, but when he was finished at the terminals, he turned around and took me out first, and then Moonie second. We had no armor on and no weapons drawn. This to me was just totally uncalled for, and it spoiled the mood. The storyline was never done! Go out in the field where the hunters and miners are, but in a svc ctr? Just my opinion! (Yes, we know who he is but no names!)
Ok ... enough of that ... so thx again for your advice ... it was well taken and I will surely keep it in mind. Maybe I need to hire a PK'er as a bodyguard ... whatcha think?
To all you PK'ers?
And BTW Serenity ... welcome to the forum Hon ... glad to have you here! I think you'll find it quite interesting, but also infectious bcuz we have a very enthusiastic community of members who are enormously talented and creative. It never ceases to amaze me just how inventive and brilliant some of our members are, which makes it that much more exciting to be here. Enjoy!!
