Acid dome? … Mushrooms? … a Rave? … and a Tea Party? To an outsider, this might seem extreme and a bit risky, but to those of us who live the Club NEVERDIE lifestyle, we have become accustomed to experiences that feed into our very senses. Why live an ordinary virtual life when you can thrive in an environment that takes it to the next level.
The “Acid Dome Mushroom Rave Tea Party” is yet another themed event that combines many of the unique elements that are CND into a fun package, but with a bit of a red flare this time. The acid dome is none other than dome 2 as a result of its inhabitants, the Snablesnot and the Fungoid (Mushrooms).
Dome 2 will host this event on Saturday, June 10th, from 21:00 to Midnite MA time, and be comprised of a dance and hunt contest. The main focus is on the “shrooms” and their beautiful red spray (tea anyone?), but I’m sure the Snablesnots will try to crash the party as well. The event is 3 hours long for a reason. Our first challenge will be to build a dance floor. Locations have already been scouted, board dropping tested, and is totally doable. While some will be building the dance floor, some will be protecting them from death, but it won’t be easy. There’s a rumor that our asteroid owner wanted us to see more than red … stars maybe? … because a Fungoid Old Alpha was spotted prowling for prey and came close to taking out my camera man.
Once the dance floor is built, the contestants will be dancing their hearts out in order to win the Best Male and Best Female prizes of 250 PED each, but with a twist. The dance contestants must defend the dance floor against any invasions by MOBs who wander into the area and want to “Get Jiggy Wit It” … did I forget to mention that armor is optional? And oh, did I also forget to mention that there’s one
“CND Dance Club Playmate” who’s quite proficient at mob-herding?
The hunting contest winner will be the person with the “highest single loot” during the course of the 3 hour event. The event system keeps track of those who rank in the top 3, so you will be able to see who your competitors are via a ranking window. The event system will also announce the winner at the stroke of midnite when the event in the dome comes to a conclusion. The winner of the hunting contest will receive a Club NEVERDIE apartment, Beta East (7E), and a 500 PED Shopping Spree at the CND Mall with MS9. Choose your shops and choose your items, but you WILL be shopping. It’s our way of supporting the shopowners in the CND Mall and exposing more people to what’s available.
Our illustrious asteroid owner may want us to see red and play with death, but he will compensate by providing the pulsating beat of streaming sounds into the dome the likes of which will stir our senses in directions that loosen our inhibitions. Perhaps it may even elevate us into that rave state of mind where seeing red and facing death is exactly the adrenaline rush we need to embrace the challenges.
