Space Resort Shopping Mall Suggestion
I saw this post on EF, and thought. well why not show it here to it is a great idea. The orginal post is made by: Buzz Lightyear and the post cam from Entropia Forums.
Space Resort Shopping Mall Suggestion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The space resort was originally described as containing a Themed Shopping Mall.
I wanted to suggest a nice way this can be done. Instead of having the same old shopkeepers selling 20 items per shopkeeper, have things set up more like a real Mall. Where the shop-owner can put their items on display in the store... say 50 item limit or something. And customers can come into the store and buy items right off the shelves!
An example of what I mean,
Buzz Lightyear's Furniture Warehouse could be the sign outside the store...
A customer will see that sign, and come in for a look. They will see a nicely decorated store will all sorts of crafted furniture on display. They would be able to see the various Comfyr Sofa's I have in stock right there on display!
So the customer thinks... I really like this dark blue coloured Sofa, it would look great in my new apartment at the resort... so they just right click on the sofa, and go to a purchase option. And voila that couch is theirs.
Everyone wins this way. MA & Neverdie will have a real virtual shopping mall. Store Owners have a lot of control to decorate and sell items. Customers have the luxury of browsing and see what items really look like.
More examples of ideas... A tailor can have dressed mannequins in the store where the clothes can be purchased right off the mannequins! Same with an armour shop. Or a weapons and attachments store, which could have display cases of guns on the walls, some shelves and tables with items.
All of this doesn't sound like it would be too difficult for MA to make. I think it is a very good idea...
What does everyone think of this suggestion?

If the logistics for something like this can be worked out, I think it's a super idea. My concern would be the size of the shops, and after displaying items for sale, how much room left and how many ppl could get in to browse. I think an idea like this is way cool, and if implemented would certainly generate a lot more activity, and could very well be one of the draws to the Space Resort and Club ND.
If we're going to continue in the vein of paralleling an IRL environment, then let's hear it for mall shopping.

Me for sure think this is a idea that is awsome. if this would be done, the attraction to the restort would incresse dramaticly.
And the feeling of it would greatly be enchanted.

They do a good version of that in The Sims Online with player stores. They lock down the items and place a value on them. And if the player agrees to paying the value on the item its moved striaght into their inventory.

Acurly.. i think that is a good idea, but what would make something even more fun... what about "delvier-to-door" or maybe- If that would be a thing to add, postboxes, wich you can hire, where the items drops off, and you can go and pick them up whenver you feel you wanna do that.
