Changes for MindStar9 . . .

Just wanted to let everyone know that some changes have taken place with regard to the depth of my involvement with CND. It's both a good thing and a rather sad thing, however, life has a way of evolving in directions we don't always foresee, but isn't always a bad thing either.

The good part of the changes is that IRL has been kicked up a notch with regard to personal opportunities. I am acquiring additional classes to teach, and my private business is flourishing, so both "good" things. However, it now creates time constraints with regard to my level of involvement with CND.

Effectively immediately, I won't be officially coordinating CND events on a regular basis, but rather as time will allow and at such time that ND can use the additional help. In the meantime, ND will be generating events "on the fly" (as he terms it) in order to present fun times for the community as seen by the most current event he has posted called "Orange Punk Rock Party" on Saturday the 22nd, so be sure to check it out.

As of now, the monthly Newsletter is also on hold as it is very much another time-consuming effort and I wouldn't be able to devote the amount of focus needed to manage or produce it along with CPH. This may be something that will be revisited, but for now, it's being placed on the shelf until such time as ND makes further decisions about the future of this product.

What WILL remain the same is that I will continue moderating the forum, as well as manage the monthly global/hof draw events. I will also continue with the "MS9 Quote of the Day" thread. However, the picture storytelling will be somewhat minimal due to the time constraints but will do them whenever I can.

I may not be ingame as much any more but I will always have in mind those who have been special to me, as well as to Moonie, Jet and I. When I AM ingame, it will most likely be with Moon, or Moon and Jet, so if you ever PM me and I say I'm having "Moonie time" or in a JSA team hunt, then you'll understand since our time is now limited as well. I will also continue to interact with the community here at the forum, and will of course maintain my close working and personal friendship with ND.

ND and I had a wonderful chat about my current circumstances and he not only fully understands my time constraints, but is also very supportive regarding my IRL demands. He knows that I have given 100% to CND and believe in his vision, and will also continue to be supportive in that respect with as much as time will allow me.

I also thank the community for the support you have given me since the birth of this forum, as well as the launch of CND. I have been here since the beginning and will remain a staunch fan and supporter of both, as well as the amazing community we have developed. So I hope that you all won't forget that I'm still around and say hey now and then. I just won't be as visible as I used to be.

It's sad to hear that you won't be around as much, but huge grats on all your good fortune IRL. We will miss you while you are away, but I am sure everyone can uderstand where you are coming from now.

I'd like to say I speak for the community, but that would only allow the lazy to sit back and relax. Get off your asses and say something here, dammit!

I'll speak only for myself, then. There is no one person in this game, that I will miss more. You are the one who brought such energy and color, that having a bad time was impossible. I really don't know what kind of game this will be without you.

Naturally, I couldn't be happier about the good things in your life. I know that you deserve them, and much more. I just wish it didn't mean this. That's just me being selfish.

A million thank yous, for everything you have done.

You will be missed dearly ingame, without your help and support I doubt I'd be where I am today. Hopefully we might still get a time or two once in a while to chat or take out a few snables!

We will miss your ever kind, generous, and cheerful self around the halls of CND as much, but I suppose that will make us appreciate the times you are able to spend with us even more.

Congratulations on your RL endeavors and successes. That is ultimately great news for you, though a bittersweet one from our perspective.

As always, thank you again for all of the blood, sweat, tears, and laughter you've put into promoting CND and helping to build such a strong community spirit. You have *absolutely* made a permanent and lasting impression on our little party asteroid, and we will do our best to carry on that spirit.

Never got the time to get to know you well Star, but you were always pleasant when we met and gracious enough to have me in your's and Moon's home. I am happy for you about the rl changes, and being a PA myself I can imagine the amount of time and effort you have put in here for CND, so can completely relate to having to makes some hard choices.
Thanks for all of that time and effort hon, and best of luck to you, hopefully will still see you sparkling on CND from time to time.

I too have only met and chatted with you a couple of times MS9. It is clear to see from those chats that your presence will be dearly missed by your friends. You arent leaving our world so your caring and giving nature will continue to light up the dark halls of CND . Congrats on the success of your business and all your endeavors IRL.
