Just a heads up I will be gone from Wednesday (6/28) to about July 4th or so, my bro and I are going down south to Florida for a few days of well deserved R&R...though not quite the main reason. We got tickets to get within 4-5 miles of the spaceship Discovery liftoff on Saturday (Hopefully), so big event to go to. Hmmm...don’t know if it goes to Club NEVERDIE or crystal palace but it's going up

I'll try to grab a computer or something at the places down there but chances are no way to check RP...too bad

I'll be sure to grab a pic or two and post when I return! (If not the shuttle then some nice beach pics...hehe)

btw if you're watching the launch on TV and you see a red Hawaii shirt and blue hat it's probably me

That's fantastic Odd, have fun. I had heard something about engineers being concerned about the launch, but I think it was blown out of proportion. Let's hope for a safe and easy launch.

Maybe that long drive and week without a computer will allow you some time to complete that ever-important top-secret project you *realllllllllllllllly* need to get done soon. :P :P :P Maybe NASA could give you some tips? (If readers have no clue what I'm talking about, don't worry -- just roll your eyes at the crazy Fliss in typical fashion)

Oh boy ... you will be missed OB ... but you're coming to my state and a place that I have visited in the past. I'm sure you'll have an enjoyable time. Here's hoping the launch takes place, bcuz on a clear day, I can look NE and catch the trail in the sky.

Now, whether they fly to CND and/or CP is unknown, bcuz there are several docking levels at CND that are not currently utilized, and I'm sure they could sneak in that way somehow and be checking us out. So, perhaps if the launch DOES occur, maybe we might need to be on our best behavior that day. Nah ... what the HELL am I talking about ... THAT will never happen bcuz we live at PARTY CENTRAL, and there's no way we're back-stepping from THAT. They'll just need to get into the groove with us, that's all there is to it.

Well, have a wonderful trip OB, and bring back some cool pics of you in that red Aloha shirt and blue hat. The colorfulness of those shirts is what I miss from when I lived in Hawaii. So brilliant and vibrant, and with so many on the streets (along with the lays of course ... the FLOWER lays you ninnies) it made it seem almost like a theme park at times ... I really miss it.

Sorry I will not be in Florida to greet you..headed to the UK tomorrow. Too bad tho since you are going to be in my neck of the woods.....very, very close indeed.
I know someone who works at NASA so I will find out if the shuttle is going up for sure and post it here.

I'll be staying close to daytona beach i think, staying at a hotel in titusville (dunno how it's spelled), about four miles from the KSC or so.
