Firstly, a global is a loot (be it hunting, mining or crafting) that amounts to 50 PED or more. For this you get to see your name appear in the chat window in purple... smile in the knowledge that every other person currently in the universe also sees your name in their chat window (assuming they are using the "All" chat-box).
I have read, but can't remember the forum rules regarding hotlinks, so I'll just use hxxp instead of http... replace at your convenience.
2 places I use to gauge current market prices and trends are :-
hxxp://www.mytwopecs.com/
hxxp://www.pe-trade.net/
Hope this is of some help to you.

Nice one...I would suggest saving it up until you get a good amount then placing it on auction. You can auction it in space or down on the planet, it's up to you but you'll get more eyeballs down on the planet (for now).

If I'm not mistaken, I believe on Calypso and Amathera we can see what's posted at the auction from space as well. It's just hilited in a different color to show the difference, and ... I think there's also a "transport fee" of 1 PED if you buy something posted in space from a Calypso or Amathera auctioneer.

Do you have a source to verify this information Knuckles? I'd be interested in seeing it, and maybe sharing it here if you can.

i sold my cumb at 130%... maybe i was lucky. ^^
And if you ask me about the transer cost.. it seems to be something that has to do with the weight of the item? no? i dont know... just a thought from me
