Oh, I wasn't meaning just CND shops MS9, it was meant for the PE community as a whole. It is not meant to say whether a shop is bad but show what shops are rated top in their category. I wouldnt want to tell anyone their shop is bad because it would cause a lot of resentment which I don't want anyone to deal with. I just mentioned Azi or ND to promote the idea since they have well known reputations. It would be kind like a magazine of the Hot Spots of Where to Shop In PE. Oh, well just an idea.

I understand your idea fully Hon, but whether it's just for the CND Mall or the entire PE community, it still has the potential to do more harm than good. There's an unspoken msg in a process like this that says "you're not good enough" and that's not what we want to promote.

If someone is just doing their thing according to what they can afford and provide, then that's what they can do. If we start giving the msg to someone that they just don't measure up to others, then there's a subliminal byproduct there that has the potential to cause self-talk that in turn could sabotage a person's efforts to succeed.

Trust me on this one, I teach Psychology of Personal Growth, and while the dynamics are too numerous to get into here, there's a potential and profound negative effect in giving any type of hint to someone that they don't measure up as a result of whatever criteria is estblished to determine the best of the best.

CND promotes CND business ... all other entities on Eudoria promote their businesses as well, and there are far too many variables involved in how a particular business and/or shop is run to design a system or process of this kind in a virtual environment that could set off only the top 5 in a way that would only be positive.

What we don't want to do is get into another hierarchy where only the "ubers" rule while the rest of us are working hard to establish ourselves and get a business off the ground. We need to be able to
co-exist and support "success" as a whole.

Obviously I feel rather strongly about this, but as one who truly understands the dynamics that play into this, I felt I needed to at least give my 2 cents worth.

Opposing opinions are always welcome for healthy discussion.

Thx!

( ps I hope u dont mind a non shop owner offering ideas )

Can the shop onwers agree on a sort of activity sign, they can place in the shopwindow?

I run around the shopping area quite frequently, its fun and see a lot of items i dint even know existed. Its howefer frustrating to run in a shop and run down a stairs wait a second and see there is no sale activity.

an example.

There are 3 possible shopping area's in a shop, window, main area and downstairs. Active area's could be indicated by a ignot of belkar and lyst for inactive area's. this sign could be positioned in the shopwindow close to the entrance.

belkar belkar lyst placed there would indicate active shoppinging window and top side, yet no sales activity in the lower area.

lyst belkar belkar placed there would indicate that the window is just for display, the top area and down are are active sales areá's.

Its a simple gesture, but would be conveniant for ppl like me, customers.
