And a bump for the rest of the ppl in CNSA and other shop owners out there who may want to be a part of it all.... we need a few more owners here contributing a little. it wouldnt be a big task imo just something that if enough of us do would make it easier for the rest and help out the owners too (if all that makes sense :P )

Hey thanks for the nod Ripper. While I will continue to be active, I think I'll pass on the leadership race. I'm waiting to see what this organization will be like - what are the benefits of joining and what percentage of shop owners are involved.

And just to clarify something Rob said, I don't just markup my items above peauction or other sites out of principle. I actually am a big fan of those auction tracking sites like petrade or mytwopecs.com.
I adjust each item's price taking into account the auction transport fee and many other factors.

I am not willing to become the leader of CNSA (too busy RL actually, with different commitments).

For the rest, and with the approval of the future leader, i would suggest the following organization (as put in the link by Ripper ).

I put my canditature for several positions, like Ripper.

CEO -> general orientation, ethic, arbitrage : Stoffer, Ripper

- advertising/spokesperson/public relations -> comminication : Ripper
- marketing/survey/seaking for competitive advantages -> marketing : Ripper, Kay
- long term goals and acheivement (the most difficult in my opinion) -> strategy : Ripper, Kay
- improvements at a day to day basis / gaining better services -> operation
- space ship organisation / and other supplies -> supply
- events related to CNSA ? -> go with communication ?
- financial aspects -> finance : Kay

If you see a position that fit with your hidden talents, do not hesitate, and we can after discuss about who takes what.


It is without any doubts that we, the CND store owners, are actually sleeping ! Are we going to take the advantage over the Calypsien's store ?

Hello everyone ... I actually don't have my shop up and running yet bcuz I'm still in the planning stages and not really sure what direction I want to go with it yet. I know that I gave a basic idea to everyone, but I've done a lot of rethinking about it and want to be innovative in how I present it to the community. I'll get there eventually and I'm sure it'll be smashing, but for the time being ...

Since I have plenty of experience with events and communication, I would like to throw myself onboard to be a part of that organization. I may not have my shop running yet, but I'm totally supportive of what we do in this shop owners association and truly want to contribute in whatever way possible.

Yes, I already wear many hats for CND, but this is just another progression toward being a part of the overall success of our awesome community and virtual environment. We have a lot of potential, and if we get this organized and visible, then we're on our way to develop it into something even greater, so plz count me in and allow me to work with all of you in whatever capacity I can. Besides, I'm working toward getting that "hat rack" for my walk-in closet that Moonie keeps saying I need.

I have some thoughts in mind regarding events and drawing ppl into the mall, and as soon as I can put them into print they will be posted here. I will be more active in this thread as well and not be so absent. I have the time and willing to dedicate some of it to the association's projects.

Hopefully with a few more posts in here and possible candidates CNSA WILL be a force to be reckoned with.

Well I was just about to post a thread to continue with the discussion on leadership in the CNSA Private area, but as this has popped up its the best place to say it.

I've decided to take a semi-permanent leave of absence from PE. I just don't have time at the moment to really play. And I'll probably start winding down some of my operations in PE and put them into hibernation.

It sounds like there are willing people to run the CNSA which is good and wish you guys all the best. I'll probably be lurking about somewhere ;-)

My vote goes for Stoffer. With Rob for VP! Rob had some great ideas and seemed to have bags of energy and a similar mind set to Stoffer.

I think I have sold 7 items from my CND shop since I opened it up - its value has dropped considerably and I am paying a massive (in MA terms) rent to MA. I have been very close to putting the shop on the market.

While we can work together to support each other I think that we need to lobby MA. Even if its is just starting the dialogue and letting MA know what we would like to see changed...maybe they will listen.

I do, however, think that the only players that will be able to profit with a shop (as the system is currently structured) are those who already have a significant sustainable advantage - (1 shop for crafted furniture (Buzz) , 1 for crafted armour and weapons (Aut) etc.

It is also interesting that some of the key shopkeepers (those that put considerable amounts of time and effort into this) on Almethera/ Eudoria seem to be walking away from it. Anyone remember Da Celt...

I don't want to seem negative ...but I do feel strongly that we need to get MA into some form of dialogue which will help both our trading community and MA.
