CND – Monthly Global/HoF Draw Event w/Unique Prizes


Club NEVERDIE is hosting a monthly Global/HoF draw event with
a unique prize each month, and the rules are quite simple.

RULES

Rule # 1
The event will run monthly from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month.

Rule # 2
CND Hunting and Mining Globals/HoFs only. Mining amps are allowed.

Rule # 3
Post your Global/HoF screenies in the thread titled … “Global/HoF Draw Event – April – SCREENIES ONLY” … or whatever current month the event is running.

Post all Globals/HoFs in a link format only. If not, they will be edited. No exceptions!

Do Not list all of your Globals/HoFs in one post by editing that post. However, if in a day's time you have achieved several Globals/HoFs, it is acceptable to place all of them in one post. Just keep in mind that the numbers assigned to those Globals/HoFs for the draw will be consecutive.

Team Globals/HoFs are not allowed. This is an "individual" event only.

Rule # 4
All Globals/HoFs must contain the “C” and “P” features in the chat window that clearly shows the time, date, and dome location of the Global/HoF. All Globals/HoFs must be posted within 24 hrs of achieving them or they won’t count. No Exceptions!

Rule # 5
The Globals/HoFs for this monthly event cannot be used in any other running event. If they are, they will be removed and not counted. No exceptions!

Rule # 6
Any discussion about the monthly event is to take place in this thread only. Post any questions or comments here and we will address them in a timely manner.

Rule # 7
Have as much fun as possible and increase your chances to win some unique prizes the rest of the year.

Each Global/HoF will be assigned a number based on the order posted starting with zero to accommodate the “Modulo” function used in the draw method. Obviously, the more Globals/HoFs you get the better chance you have of winning each monthly draw.

Draw Method

• Based on Euromillions Lotto … http://www.euromillions.be/index.aspx

• Every Friday, this lottery generates 5 numbers + 2 lucky star numbers

• These 7 numbers (with the zeros removed from the lucky star numbers) that are posted at the lotto site the Friday after the end of each monthly event will be used to determine the winner

• The “Modulo” mathematical function will be used to calculate the winning number … you can find information about this function here: http://www.asp101.com/articles/steven/mod/default.asp

• A number will be assigned to each Global/HoF in the order posted

• As an example: if there are 700 entries, and the Euromillion numbers the following Friday after a monthly event ends are … 9 – 14 – 19 – 21 – 34, with the star numbers being 05 and 07 … the zeros would be removed from the 05 and 07 and the number used with the Modulo function would be: 91419213457 … and the winning Global/HoF number would then be: 257

• You can test this formula out yourself by activating your Windows calculator (Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Calculator) … enter 91419213457, click on the “Mod” key, then enter 700 and press the equal symbol … Voila!!

nice price, but events should have certain "limits"and not include all domes 24/24 for the rest of the year. You'll have too much events eventually running through each other.

We appreciate your feedback for sure, but for right now Hon, the domes will be open for hunting and mining 24/7 except for the one-hour weekend events later in the evening (MA time) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

It's ok if we have multiple events running throughout the year bcuz the rules for each event are very clear, and we're able to monitor the activity quite easily.

So I hope that you will consider participating in one or two of them and have some fun for yourself, not to mention give yourself a chance to win some nice prizes.
