Oh how exciting ... this would be a wonderful opportunity to get more exposure for CND.
I would absolutely love to work with Lykke on this project for sure, and I think between the 2 of us we should be able to pull this together for you ND.
I think Lykke would make a great Liaison ... however, I'm not sure she is German, but rather Danish. Don't know how close the languages are, but maybe it's something that would work.
With regard to the makeshift catwalk if MA doesn't give us one in time ... I'm wondering if the dome area would be the most likely place to develop this. I was thinking of using the mezzanine area for part of the space where ppl could stand and watch, and then have contestants for any contests come from the shop area and walk down the staircase and along a designated path toward a viewing area (if a fashion show). The path could be outlined by using a specific item that would pop enough to show that it was in fact outlining a path, such as papplon in its red color.
We could also line the steps with essence like Arthur did in the Disco for the dance contest, but wouldn't work for the path due to the lightness of the floor area.
We could have ppl standing on either side of the path, but back a ways so there was a clear view of the person walking down the path, and so that the camera would catch everything. The path could be made wide enough to handle this I'm sure.
If we choose to do something like this, then it would also show off the space/universe feel of the dome area, as well as give exposure to the shopping mall. I don't think we have to be extreme or overly elaborate in setting this up. I think we need a more open space so that it's not so tight and challenging to film such as it would most likely be in the Disco area right now if we were to use that for a makeshift catwalk in some way.
I just want to get clarification on a couple of things before going forward with this ...
I would be more than happy to rework the announcement and handle the promotions, but if you would, please ... is the "rough draft suggested post" above, the announcement that I'm going to rework to be posted here to present it to the community? ... or, am I going to develop a whole new post that incorporates this information? ... or, is this the translation of what's at the website link? ... or, was this a personal message to you with the invite to highlight CND in an upcoming TV show?
Sorry for the questions, but I just want to make sure I'm going in the right direction here.
Also ... I'm taking it that Lykke and I will immediately develop a screenshot contest, a movie making contest, and perhaps the main event in fact be a fashion show contest where we can make good use of the catwalk or makeshift catwalk.
Perhaps another segment might be an apt decorating contest where that could be a part of highlighting the lifestyle at CND. Editing of the filming of the event at CND would of course capture each segment of the lifestyle at CND to accommodate timeframes for the TV program.
This way we have the open dome "window on the universe" with huge shopping mall area covered, as well as the fashion and living quarters aspect covered ...
AND ... perhaps top it off with a disco party to highlight some nightlife.
This doesn't have to be complicated ... hopefully Lykke and I can get together quick enough to put the details together and post the information so that the community can engage themselves right away. We can determine prize categories and what the prizes will be, along with figuring out the rest of the details for promoting this multi-dimensional event.
