Wow what a night for little ol' me...

First off, ubber gratz to the new #2 ATH. Nice to know it can still happen!

The DNA didn't sell...guess I should've started at 2 PED since being at CND there's a 1.24 PED transport charge(that can kill a business player I can see now) Went dung hunting and found some more. Same place, same time. I thought to ask ND to see if he needed any dung but apprently he didn't and has one hell of a strong arm...put me through the bulkhead

Went hunting with my 50 rounds I had left, came up with about 15 pec and 5 hides. Gah, why have you abandoned me lootus!?! I've been a good boy, helped those I could, write everyday and make daily donations of sweat to noobs, why can't you even show me a sign?

Then it happened..I flipped out, cursing myself and I TT'd everything I owned expect for the dung, sweat, and my favorite pistol that was givien to me as a birthday gift from a friend. Rang up about 3.52 PED, enough for an ematter detector and 1 probe, and which I bought. Call me insane, odd, crazy, what you will. I'm Sir Odd and I'm on a misson from Lootus! (During this time I felt a bit possesed )

Instead of Dome 5 I went to 1 since I have seen a-many HOF in there, then ran pretty much right to the middle of the dome and stopped.

What happens next is in about 10 second timeframe, so hold on to your seat!

With only fate in my hands I slammed the probe into the eart...er, astroid (what I call mining with mines), then I let fate take over. Searching....searching...dam why does it take so long?! A few hours ago there was a guy mining in dome 5 that dropped like 25 bombs and probes, and he missed all but 4 which were very poors, so I figured it was impossible...as it's still searching the HUD box in the left hand corner pops up with a question mark, I click it but didn't see much of it, something like "The size is 40% bigger, but..." I didn't get a chance to see the rest of it becasue the detector came to life saying it found a average deposit! Holy Lootus, never in doubt I will be again! With my first and only probe on CND had I not only hit my biggest deposit size ever, but I had just managed to make 4x as much mining as I've made with hunting the entire time I've been here! So I'm like, "Cheers!" hopping out of my chair to do a little dance of victory when I hear my avatar let out a yelp in pain, and one of the @!#% amilliax came from nowhere and started taking bites off my avatar, and I hadn't claimed the spot yet! Now I'm thinking OMG this a-hole is going to kill me before I can cliam and I'll lose everything! But I was 14.2 km from the spot, and doing nothing but defense skilling the past week paid off as I was able to navagate safely to the cliam and mark it 2 seconds before I took a critical 121 in the back to go face first.

Whew, out of breath? I sure was

TT'd my detector and took the extractor out for some fun. Had to hug the west wall to avoid most of the beasties, then made a dive for the marker and quickly as I could took everything out. Lootus was once again on my side for the time as none of the mob came close enough to the location to distract me. (As you might be able to see my drilling skills went though the roof.) So now I'm the proud owner of 621 barrels of crude oil (Hopefully this will be a bit more in demand than dung and sweat)

Really didn't have time to play PE at all yesterday, bcuz on my way home from school I was being chased by bad weather (I mean BAD), finally made it home five minutes before the tornado alarms went off (bad to live on the edge of 'tornado vally'. Rain, hail, heavy winds and three twisters hit the town...no injuries other than cuts and scrapes, but managed to capture some photos...

Even got to see one of the tornados (going away of course). Again, no deaths or serious injuries a this point, but took out the Menard's where my new back door was coming from and the best Ice cream shop in town!!! o0o0o0o0o0o...actually saw one twister myself but could only see it when lighting stiked (which was often)...that was cool!

*Should also note I guess that these storms can be quite violent, and if your county is under a tornado warning seek shelter immeditly. I take photos for a living and only take 'em when the dangers past.

*BTW ripper the oil's on auction now!

Holy crap!

Found 200 more dung to bring my total dung count to 451. I can no longer run as my weight is in the red now. Wish I had an apartment oh well, if all else fails I’ll tuck it in some corner where it will be difficult for others to find while I hunt/mine. Saw two more apartments up for grabs, but just as it was before some noob jacks the price to 200 PED (whether it is on purpose or they just really want the apartment, I dunno) Many thanks to Ripper and creature, good peeps for selling oil to, went off and tried to mine at dome #1 again but there were like three other miners in there carpet bombing and probing the heck out of the place so I figured no use mining there. Went to dome #2, started mining there. Went like halfway through the dome when I hit a spot that says ‘ you cannot mine here’. Huh?

Dunno why, but at least it didn’t waste the probe. Probably spent like 8 ped on probes with not a hit. Finally got that message again from the HUD, saying ‘your range is deceared 40%, but bigger deposit can be found’. Hey, all for bigger stuff, but with my skills the way they are right now 40% is huge. TT’d the mining stuff and turned them into ammo. On second thought, I might go to Epic’s Outfitters and buy one of his legendary reapedges…besides, melee is my forte…

Made a lot of PED today, spending it even faster. Good day it is! For those going to the moon party, have fun and I’m looking forward to the after party announcements!

Can’t get a HOF or global to save my soul but I can be one bad-ass web assistant! Though being at CND prevented me from going down to the full moon party, I was surprised when I logged in that my chat box was already jumping up and down like an avatar doing the pogo on caffeine. It was epic, gratz’ing me for getting the position since he was able to make it and heard the announcement before I did. At first I was confused a bit, thinking “I didn’t win the lottery…”..,but in a way I did, as Mrproer and J D have decided to put me under their wing and work for the famous PE Directory. Huge thanks and +REP to them and the whole gang at PE Directory, look forward to working with them to make a better directory for all to enjoy.
No more ramen noodles for my avatar! Then I got to thinking “I’ve never had that much PED. What am I going to do with it all… (Don’t worry, I’ll find a way to spend it )

Going on a little celebration run I bought like 20 probes and decided to bomb dome 1 once more. Starting form the south I sort of zigged and zagged around as to find deposits and avoid the huge amriliax that could’ve threaten any finds I found. But as I hit the other side 15 probes later, nothing…bah!

TT’d the rest and went snable slaughtering in dome 5…surely they had a prize for me…
Went through and laid waste to everything in there like twice over, scrapping nothing but pecs and hides and a goblin arms I couldn’t wear unless I had a gender change…not exactly rewarding but I guess it’s better than nothing. One other noob in there hunting, if I was evil enough or had more ammo I would’ve flattened him as well…mwhahaha!
Thinking the entire dome was rigged I hunted until my ammo was zero then TP’d out to the control room. Of course, a minute later the dam noob scored 182 PED off a snable young…about tearing my hair out in frustration, should’ve been mine…

No playing this morning, had to be the guinea pig for a few psychology students who wanted to raid my brainwaves and eye movementsso they can go to some national meeting and brag about a noob’s brainwaves lol…looked like a borg from the Star Trek, had so much crap hooked up my face, with transmitters and even had a head cap with 32 wires came out to some other machine…it was messy :P
Sat in front of the TV for three hours while they showed pics of hot chicks…ok, it wasn’t that great, they just flashed colored boxes up on the screen and I had to tap some control to see if they changed colors or not. BORING! Not my flavor of fun but at $12/hr I guess it might be worth it. Should’ve asked if they could of paid out in PED…

Wow...picked up 1k+ dung during the weeked Now I have flies swarming my avatar wherever he goes now, and I don't think it's from not bathing. Now carring 1516 dung I surely move and smell like it (least if nothing else I can scrape a pec from the TT!)

Picked up all the pieces of my masterpiece last night...sad to see it all go, but happy it was still there. Perhaps if I can't rid of it I can do weekly artwork at the complex...

Been busy thinking of new stuff to ad to the PE Directory, big changes are coming, so look forward to those coming soon...

Had a nice easter with my grandparents, aunt and uncle and twin cousins yesterday, had HUGE dinner...Ham, potatoes, cole slaw, hot rolls...hmm, best I've eaten in a long time Had LOTS of choclate...and yes I did check it over to see it was before I ate them.

Made my sig a big clearer, and starting to work with some flash program to make a cool sig or avatar, but too messy for me atm. Trying to get a sig like Epic's but don't think paint does that LOL.

Hm, btw I got that music tracks I've had, so I'll be sure to post a link to those as soon as possible for you guys to listen to and critque.

Other than that there's not too much going on in my side of EU, so that's all folks!

ND was nice enough to buy all the dung I have, now I'm weightless and clean as a feather That was cool meeting ND. Saw MS9, moon, Zar and a few others too...nice to have a small community in such a tight place!

Found a few hundred fruit and sold that too, so I had a nice chunk of ped. Time to hunt! (was tired of mining and getting nill, since the last 20 probes all hit nothing...man I hate beginner's luck!)

Had about 1k rounds, hunting snables again, probably should've upgraded to berrys since the loot might have been better, but I just LOVE snables...cute, fuzzy and dead in 1 hit for the males.

As hunting raged on nothing impressive, but I got a nice pair of goblin thigh-guards to help protect my nice booty

Near the ending of my ammo I came accross a snable which for now I'm calling the 'black mamba' snable, as this one seemed to have no color, and must have had evade of like 5000 because it took me 6 shots (30 rounds) to even get skill gain, much less damage it. Did a critial hit too as well, so either my v-card is messed up or MA's out to get me... When it finally rolled over it did contain 2 wool and 91 pec, so I guess it was worth the trouble for the time being.

To my sruprise I had hunted for over two hours and still had a bit of ammo and pec left! That never happens! So I guess in a way it was good night (if not eventful!)

Well, tommorow's my sixth month of playing, and must say I'm quite pleased with what I've accomplished. Beginner swordsman, mining ematter with some if little success (but that's to be expected! ), and made the trip to CND (with help!) I belive I'd rather be lucky than good, becasue it will get you farther everytime!

The places I've been, the people I've met, all are making my stay enjoyable everyday. It's nice to see that not only regular players helping me and others out, but for the ubber players and highly respected members to come down from their high positions and meet me in the middle to help. Sorry Epic...but I'm going to have to thank you once again! (For those who don't know, he's my mentor ) as he put me under his wing, most of my success should be his credit. I'd repay him somehow if he wasn't so modest

Spread the rep to Larry Compuserf (my soc leader)...he's a strong leader who's always good for a laugh, or hunt for that matter! He helped me score my one and only team global (which I only got 4 peds out of but hey, a globals a global!) Our soc is now one of the highest populated soc's, and must say I'm proud to be a part of.

Also, who else...ah yes, to all my peeps who I trade with, they always tip better than most! Can't thank you all enough! Also for those who encourage my own storytelling (there is room for two up here, isn't there MS9? If not don't put me in the airlock! maybe I'll hide with the snables!)

Also thanks to mrproper and J D for giving me a job I was just given, won't dissapoint! These two built what I would consider the biggest and best database resource for Entropia Universe.

Oh I know I'm missing people, forgive me if I did but can't say enough good things!

Good night indeed

Started by doing my usual dung patrol...found a few hundred, checking the disco and the north complex entrence. TP'd to the south lobby and nobody but blood moon there, seemed to be just standing around like he expected me to drop by. Chatted for a bit about regular stuff while I checked the room for stuff (plants and behind the talioring machine is the most common). After doing the search he asked if I wanted to go see his and MS9's new shop. I had nothing better to do, so I agreed, what the heck. Being as my agility is halfway through 25 my little legs couldn't even begin to keep up as we marched through the main complex and through the halls.
Finally got to the shop, was empty upstairs until moon led me downstairs where I was greeted by MS9. Nothing like bringing a friend over to dinner eh? Had a nice pile of hides and whatnot in the corner, so they had a nice little shop in the basement if nothing else.


Chatted for a bit longer with the two, then we got around to talking about hunting. They asked, "You have a rifle? You have a FAP?"
At this point I felt like a noob with my pants down (which btw my avatar had none on, so laugh it out!) I really was hunting with my pistoil at the time since I couldn't afford much, and the last FAP-5 I had back on calypso was broke and sold it to a soc mate who needed one, so feeling a bit warm with embaressment right now!
I hunt snables in dome 5 most of the time so I figured most of the time the stuff wasn't needed (unlike if I hunted berrys, that'd be a whole new tale). MS9 and moon both sort of stood there staring at me, then chatted amonst themselves. I figured nothing going on so I decided to do a little dance here and there and kept myself entiertained in their company. They laughed at it and I laughed too so it was all good. Then MS9 said something about a 'welcoming package' that I could get. I didn't mean to bother them, but they insisted, so I accepted.
Then moon took me back to the south complex lobby while MS9 worked on the shop a bit, then he ran off somewhere, so I danced a little more in the lobby, enjoying myself. Then one of the two would show up, chat a bit, then take off again. Busy bee's they are! Then both showed up again then while MS9 chatted a bit about my diary and stuff moon gave me the 'package'. I was thinking maybe just a rifle and some ammo but no! It was loaded with a bunch of goodies (full goblin, rifle, not only ammo for the rifle but my pistol as well!, tons of mining equipment and probes and whatnot (the detetors were better than the TT one's, now that's high quality! and even a full FAP-10). Or as I said, just plain bad-ass

Then they even offered to go team hunting! I figured no better way to test out the new stuff so of course I accepted, then watched as MS9 and BM got decked out in their battle armor (loved BM's shades and rancher hat(if that was what it was), was almost expecting him to pull out a cigar and say "smoke 'em out!")
Went to dome 5 and completly tore apart those snotty snables (think the best part was being attacked by six different snables and only taking 1.0 dmg each, ha who's the weak one now snables!) As you can see from the pics the loot window was getting a nice sheet of pecs and hides from the victims, managed to get a few nice loots myself but I'd say 70% credit came from the MB and MS9!) They said they were just hunting with Mann MPH, but they were souped up(think MB might of accidently shot me once and did 14 dmg, I may be a noob by most but even I know MPH don't do that much unamped! But that's alright, love you guys anyways! (I owe these two a virtual stake dinner! (he fapped he for 44 health afterwords) )

Then after wacking snables for a while we decided to upgrade to dome 3 with dakubias and berries. We picked off a few on the way to the TP and went off!

Arrived at dome 3, was alone for a few seconds then BM came to sight...looked around but no MS9...saw the loot window come up and figured she was already in the middle giving the mob theirs so we trotted out and took it to them ourselves. Those were quite fun, even got more out of them than the snables...have to visit this dome more often! A few times the berry heards got thick and had to FAP a few times and take out the youngs while BM took out the mature berries...apparenlty an oplao is difficult to hit the mature berry, as every time I hit it the health would just regerate a few seconds later, so I tired to take out the weak ones for myself while running around the bit stronger ones.
Man time flies when your having fun...must have hunted for about two hours (or it seemed like it), ammo for the rifle finally went kaput then swtiched to my pistol to train with that, but forgot to repair it before heading out to hunt decided to hit the control room to regroup and logg off proabably. I pointed myself to the south TP since that was the closest one, then hit the ran key. I was walking! I checked into the inventory screen to see I was wiehgted down by all the loot! (Awsome thing to be weighted down by!) On route we hit a another horde of berrys, no way around them so I just plowed my way through the center, dropped my dung to see if that would impove but to no avail...was a bit funny as I was walking through, fapping myself as I had like 4 berries and a dak all hitting me while BM was kind enough to pick off a few at a time...eventually did make it, but still no sign of MS9? TP'd to control room and assited healing MB, was lest I could do. Checked out our booty, had about 27 PED and PEC, bunch more in hides and wool and wood and whatnot (I sure as heck can't use 'em, but I know two ppl who might!). MS9 finally emerged from the glow of the TP...
...she was hunting trox just to get more PED for the group (I did notice some PED coming in but wasn't sure where it was coming from, bcuz the dak's sure weren't coffing it up...) The loot definitly will be enough to cover repairs to the armor and whatnot. Had the best time ever at CND, those two are so nice doing all that stuff just for me...gained new rankings in four different skills (rifle, aim, ranged damaged, something else I can't think of atm). No globals, but TONs of loot. More than I could ask for.

As my retired econ teacher would say, "Greed is good". Indeed it is.

Went ematter mining in dome 7 I think it was (had exo alphas in it). First probe I slammed down...medium force nexus! woo-hoo! Talk about luck...took out the extractor and began to happly extract the little balls of energy (I'm assuming that's what it is). About halfway done with my claim, when some guy in full vigi (dunno the armor exactly, was bright white and blue in colors, if it weren't for the helmet and BLP rifle I'd say it was TT armor), whips out this BLP rifle and just guns me down. I'm like 'What the heck!' (though you bet the wording was different! ) So I come back to the RT in the control room, FAP myself and set out again from the south TP of the dome. There he is, just standing by the TP. I sort of juked around a bit to bug him around, then ran a bit east. He again followed and PK'd. What a guy! He was going to prevent me from my claim! Then I thought, 'if I can't go under, over, or though this guy...

...try going around. Instead of the south TP I entered the north one, nobody there, so I just ran and had a clean shot to empty my claim. So five minutes later just for kicks I ran back to the south TP in extractor in hand and a inventory full of force nexus, should've seen his stupid face. He killed me again, but who cared? I got my claim.
Unfortunetly the other 18 probes were all misses. So I figured to try the ores, see how they did. 16 bombs and not a hit. About 2-3 bombs before I ran out I ran into this nice 'sizeable XL' Biggest hit yet, and I didn't know the size charts at the time, thought I hit a global size

Ran out of all mining probes/bombs, so I fancied a hunt
My FL of course was not working, so I had to fly solo. Hit dome 3 first, ended up using the oplao for the daks and the M2722 for the berries since it could do about 20 dmg/hit, far more effective than the oplo. So I guess it was 'efficent hunting'. Thought the laser pistol ate the ammo like popcorn, so after about an hour I was down to the rifle ammo. Time for dome 5!
When I was leaving dome 3 I saw something odd (imagine that!) A snable male in dome 3? First I seen that, killed it then went to dome 3. Not too many pecs in dome 3 after my big hunting, but quite a few hides. Even got an exo tooth, dunno what's it for but maybe if I stick it under the pillow it might leave a shiny ped or something

Hate to say it but I think I made a slight profit! That lyst deposit made my day I tell ya.
