Ahhh, only a few days until Spring Break!

Was out last night doing a small run...30 bombs and a few probes, mining was unusually horrible for some reason. (Answer to that was the 39k ATH mining that popped up about mid-run And no it wasnt mine) But still found a few hits, enough to help decorate the "Bunny Cage" some more. Actually surpised that alot of the stuff is cheap priced on auction, so I'm sticking some lights and wall stickable stuff on there. Also nice to find some pleasent neigbhors nearby (mainly the JSA homies and the dancing queen), and a short trip to the auctions.

Anyway, back to the mining trip...finished drilling a small blau out, got some mining skill and an additional health point! I now have 100 (not that any Atrox Old Alpha could take me down in one hit still...) but a small global in itself. Once funds become sufficent I plan on getting a OF-104 to furtur my mining searches.

Well back from break, not too much to report...

For some reason my apartment would only light 3 out of 8 lights, thus I was somewhat conserned that it would be too dark for me to live in. However a post by Ido on EF seemed to patch things up, some option where you could set the number of indoor lights...feel a bit stupid for that, wish I figured that out eariler.

Also trying to mine full time. My surveying skills are now 800 and drilling is a bit higher, however even with trying a MF-211 and amps the end result is full of misses and tiny finds. Its somewhat discouraging to me as it seems to get more and more difficult to mine the grounds which I've had good luck on, rather than becoming easier with more skills and deeper depth coverage. Perhaps my luck is not good? Maybe its at a depth where not much resides in? Regardless, planetside mining is making me bleed ped at a bad rate, so I may fly up to CND, cant be worse.

My future in Entropia is still unkown, as my skills merit for bigger and better things than my current PED balance will allow. Again, luck is not exactly on my side as my continued skill gains with good equipment and mining dig up smaller depoists than I would like to find, and the mob continue to have no loot. Not quitting by any means, but perhaps a change in activities will be in order...

New stuff!

Logged in rather late last night (actually it wasn't that late, more around normal time), got a buzz from Mindstar asking for me to join the JSA crew on a 29 ped beacon!

Now, I've been on about half a dozen beacon runs, but nothing higher than 23 pedder. I was unsure if I would be able to handle the bigger bots, however I was insured that my ass would be covered and to get my bum down to twins.

So I went down, sure nuff theres the JSA group, along with John Captial. Never met the chap in-game, however he seems a bit stiff on the forums, thus I was unsure of how the run would go. However he was a softy, so I was glad to be wrong on that account.

After a quick run (feeling bad again for lack of TP chip, however the area was full of those annoying orange things and bots, thus it might have been the best option to run).

Once on board, everything went smooth. It was nice to have a small group of people who knew the routes and got stuff done fast, instead of doing one with a group of newcomers who never been on a run. A few times a bot got past and burned my butt, however the emt 2350 was a lifesaver and the others were quick on their feet.

I think we all managed a good haul, and after the run we had a small dance party outside the Mall with Corrvette (I think that's who it was...)

Busy weekend!

Highlight was yesterday with attending an event at Emerald Lakes. I had made my way to sakura city to see some auctions on maybe getting a GDC-97 rifle...stats are so-so but it's blp! Screen hadn't even fully loaded when Mindstar was telling me about an event going on by the Dark Brotherhood...I figured, I haven't done a good hunt in a while, so what the heck...

I actually had the time, decent armor and weapons with decent condition bars, and for once, ammo! So I repaired the stuff up a bit and headed out.

Upon arrival via TP, Asti was greeting us to take us to the spot. Short run, signed up and ready to go! Of course, sticking out of her hair was a bunch of boards to make a floor...standard equipment, as suspected. Danced around a bit, then when the time came TP's chips flared and I was off!

Hmm...exos daks and ...atrox! These buggers have scared me from day one. I was finishing off my first exo when a troxie started making a b-line for my spot. With the MK II+a103 combo I got that trox down to half life when he did reach me. furious fapping also was key, as their attacks were relentless. However the hardest mob on the circut was the daks, as these did massive damage per hit and high health. So I stayed away from them as a general rule of thumb.

I bounced back and forth in the rankings, peaking at 24th with a 26 ped exo. I was 30-34th for the most part, however I was not last. Another thing was the amount of ammo spent, well over 10k rounds. Again, another milestone since I was able to hunt the entire 90 minute run (as opposed to the CL, where I had enough ammo to cover maybe 30-45 min, then had to sit out the rest). However I made a good return with two 20-something loots and a few other things (only item looted was a fap-15).

But important part, it was FUN. Sure beats mining.

Decided that I wanted a little more action I took the rest of the ammo, emptied my inventory and went hunting for attacker drones. I only found them during my one run through there, so I didn't know much about them. They did loot a little oil, however big break came with a 47 ped loot...so close! But 47 ped in PvP4, quite risky eh? I fired up the TP chip and I...was...Gone!

So that helped. Upon return I wasn't so lucky as some bugger TP'd on my head and thought I was an attacker. Heh, all he got was 5 ped and dung!

So that's my adventures...

Few things to catch up with...

+1 HP for mining again...brings the grand total to 101 now. 4th in a row from mining lol. Why, i dunno

Also been using the TT two handed sword to finally get the sib out of the way...something that should've been taken care of long ago, even if I have no future with the meele division. Should be illegal to wield anything bigger without maxed TT stats, to be honest as the sib is a great thing for helping the stats with bigger knifes and whatnot. Chopped up some corns and exos while fapping with the TT...thingy...still not sure what to call it.

Lost a bit during mining, skills not enough to use the MF-105 yet so I went back to storage and brushed the dust off the MF-104. First drop on TI, modest...then average a bit later...then ample, along with a good number of poors and very poors. Yeah, so I should've done it a while back too, lesson learned. Until then I have an ubber Finder worth over 400 ped sitting tight for now...quite sad

Kinda cool thing off-EU topic is Zach Johnson who scored the coveted 'green jacket', his hometown is mine so it's a small party all day long. The mayor pronounced it 'Zach Johnson day', and he made a few appearnces on some morning and night shows. All for golfing!
