Have a 7 AM class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I wanted to make sure I was only on for a bit last night. Logged in, instantly get a PM (For some reason I love when that happens...). It's my boss (i.e. society leader) saying he tripped up to CND with Jessie (hmmm...don't have to think too much on that one ) He wanted some blau and narc...so I told him to jump (kidding). I said hit dome 1 or 14 since people have sighted that stuff in there. Just for kicks I got like 8 probes and donned my 'lucky miner suit' (orange exo pants and shirt), and hit dome 1 myself. Second probe by jingles hit a small oil. Hit nothing else with the rest but made a 50 pec profit...good for any night, I'll call it quits

Met with Fishy in the CR (which was dead by the way), so we just stood there and did the 3 AM like it was excatly that. Every once in a while a miner or desplator snack would revive, fap, then leave again.

Continued the work over at ED...more ped on the line so I'm gonna try and grab as much as I can (and go on a bit bigger mining trip than just a few probes!). Sweating has become more for a evade skill time, as for some reason sweating has become impossible to sweat any mob. It now takes an average 20 attempts to get anything, even then it's ~2-15 bottles, thus the armor decay passes up any sweat recivied. Things look grim, but I'll keep my chin up...

Another day, more news the day in the life of an entropian never ceases to be active...

***Flash News, Pilots charge 25 PED Now!***(Ooooooo no, run around like a berry with it's flippin' head chopped off! Of course it's probably the pilots playing lemmenings (the little critters that do crazy things, like jumping off cliffs one right after another...seems pilots are the same way at times ). One pilot goes out of line on instinct, and the rest follow aimlessly...but thats just my theory, of course. The pilots are good at their jobs so there must be a logical reason out there.

Personally, I don't mind. I don't travel much, and the way I see it, it can only help the miners (hooray beer! ). Now oil is jumped up to 120-130% of its value, an increase of 10-15%. So it helps me out in the end...the bunny always win...

What else...ah, new VU soon (I hope)...BLP opalo? Now THAT I look forward to. Seeing as I've never shot off a single round in my life, with the likeness of the opalo it has to be good...right? *Gets down on my knees and bows to MA* Please let it be good please let it be good...

Hmmm...got football vending again tommorow, this time for the Hawkeye/Cyclone game...this is going to be a good battle (both in the state of Iowa and a very long history of rivialy between the two schools). And I'll wake up with a sore back again on Sunday (Hmmm...should make the customers pay 35 PED for their soda instead of $3.50...but then me thinks the management wouldn't be too happy )

New VU today! *Much cheering*. Stupid classes *much booing*...if I wasn't so busy (or responsible), I'd get a temporary 'sickness'...

Vended the game Saturday, came home and logged in for a bit. It was a few minuets until the Champions leauge event, so the control room was packed from wall to wall. Poor Fliss was in the middle of it all trying to sell the few remaining tickets...Kept thinking 'Somebody buy the flippin' Tickets!!'. Then something caught my sight...Fliss wearing pants! Omg what has this world come to?! I clearly remember back a while ago she said she'd wear pants when pigs fly...are they now! Though I figured they were for some reason or another, so I kept my mouth shut...perhaps the smartest thing a man can do... Although for the most part between school and work has kept me occupied so playing EU is down to minimal (but never taken out of the picture competely).

Also seems a few people who dissapeared are coming back out of the woodwork. Last week I was wondering where sucba had hid to when *poof*...there he was, right next to me. Also some old soc mates (and new) have been active lately, so it's nice to hear new voices in my soc chat now. Still the only Villain in space! Was moving some dung around, and I think Slick placed like 500 dung in front of me...yes I get alot of crap from Slick, but not literally! Oh well...I like crap *Crawls to aparmtent to drop it off 400 lbs of dung*

Just another one of those days...yes indeed, it is.

Came home from classes yesterday, logged in another MMO I like to spend on my spare time (Silkroad). Logged in, only to find all my items are gone, gold is down to 0, and my wolf is missing. LOVELY.

Of course, they did their best to do as much damage as possible: Stripped the account of any valuables, left my avatar with nothing but the clothes on his back, and lastly placed him in the toughest part of the map. At this time I'm flippin' out. Yep, I've been hacked. Quickly exited, did double and triple sweeps of virius/hacker/spyware/whatnot software, changed all my passwords on every game account I currently play on, updated firewalls and protective stuff. Logged in this morning and everything was still there, but I'm still on alert. That was the worst of it right there.

However, it could have been worse, belive it or not...they could've changed the password before I did and really lost everything. It appears only that game account was hacked (my EU is still in untouched condition), and a few other ingame situations that seemed to remedy my fatal-looking situation. Of course, the company that runs the game states any hacking is falut at the victim, and "TDB" on any investagations to actually stop hacking. The real kicker is that the game comes with some software that's actually suppose to prevent that kind of stuff...lol. I really could've lost most that stuff and wouldn't affect me much, but the wolf being gone I hate the most...spent alot of time with that, and should I be roaming around and find 'sir_odd' running around, I shall know who hit me.

Like I said, pretty much everything's missing, but with new counter-measures in place it should prevent any more attempts. All I can do right now is pick myself up, dust off my shoulders and continue running. While it is a major roadblock, I've spent too many hours on that game just to go "oh well". With time, I will get back to full strength, and prosper once again.

It's one of those "it'd never happen to me" sort of deals. Well it did, and it hurts, I can tell ya that now. So for the sake of your account security, update and keep current your Virus/spyware/hacker protections, as these are here for a purpose. Getting the gold card is also a must for those putting in large amounts into the game. Again, I was fortute that it only attacked the one game, and no real money was lost in the attack. So if my days in EU are absent for a bit, it's due to me licking my wounds and doing repair work.

Ah, another monday morning, good day...gah, no monday is good!

Finally finished 'fixing' the other thing, so my mind's slowly coming back to the EU spotlight. Was only able to log in for a short time yesterday, was right before the Champions event, so I hung around for a bit and chatted with the locals (moonfish, Fliss *hugs*, and the rather quiet creature...poor guy was stuck on thoughts in the beta complex. Go sweat...but the berries were rather dry again, and I had to travel rather far to avoid the watchful eye of Mr. Turret. And the lag is still nagging at my feet...kind of a pain but just the way it is I guess.

Was tired after a bit, so decided to go back to my dig to rest. Open teleport controls...beta Complex....sat back as the teleport did the rest...
...suddenly noticed it was extremely cold, as my feet fell on astorid rock than the wooden floor it usually is. Revived back somewhere on Aplha complex instead, so to make sure I made it I just ran though the corrdiors and hallways. Nice view from there, instead of throwing around dung I shot a pec to the glass roof. Anyone who can find it can keep it (if they can )

Should enough peds come from my work on ED, I might throw some around for some fun event...noticed besides the usual events CND has become rather quiet. The halls are empty, the rooms are locked up, and even the auctioneers are desperate for attention (they keep saying 'hello' and 'give me a beer please!'. Hey, when they get the guiness it's mine first!) Though the berries are a fun loving bunch, they're not much for talking, rather the usual 'garrr', and 'honk!'. Though I planning on a few add-ons to my place, get some more paintings and maybe another shelf.

Also trying to gather some fruit now...I'm still crossing my fingers for a stable at CND, then I could start a sort of 'pet day-care', train people's pets for them while they battle. Not that I plan on it, just an idea.

...Anywho, it would be nice to rid of the frustrating lag/rubberbanding issues, as it's hurt business on CND (as well as everywhere else). The 'turrets' have been 'fixed', but the creepy Auctioneer and Techie still follow you around...that's why I lock the damn door every night when I sleep! Stalkers!

Well, off to classes...these 12 hour days are taking their toll on me! Especially with only 3 1-hour classes...but then gas is dropping, so I may hop in my car and do a bit o' joyriding...

Good news! With the latest 'resurch' from MS9 and her pimped-out bed, I decided to test the theroy on my couch. Sure enough, it has more uses now! No more hard for me, not to mention I won't mysteriously drop 2 floors down into Beta East 3G (though I think the lady who lived there liked it when I dropped in for a visit in my boxers )



Mined for a bit in dome 3, the berries were thin, so it was ok. Was in the middle of the trip when the team "Al stood amazed as Lee" killed a longu for around 344 PEDs I think. Yeow, I'm getting my head dented by chickens and they're ripping off the poor powerful monsters!

Hello!

Got back in the grove of things last night. Went to the rabbit hole and updated the 'shrine'

Went to the lobby, met Red and a buddy of hers about to hunt longu in dome 11. Well, those things are really nice I pondered. I only go there to mine, and you basically have to do the sexy move in order for them to attack. However I never had the time or PED for hunting with Red (as she keeps asking for a hunt), so this time I said yes. Got some ammo, and off we went!

The lag issues were a bit unsetteling but did not hinder our hunt (although team chat problems and invisible people were a bit). As soon as we found a longu, it came charging at us. You know I like to get close to cute animals, but perhaps this was a tad too close...


We actually did well with looting, getting ~2 PED or so from most of our vicitims, however we kept dying over and over again...sometimes they'd shoot one longu while someone else shot another, and it got ugly very quickly We even managed 2 10+ PED mob...no items the whole time though.

And gratz to Epic for not 1...not 2...but 3 globals at CP! Hell, I logged off while he was still on, so he may have scored more. Nice 400+ PED off them too. Though the real kicker was when he said he "Broke even".
... Even at 400 PED?! I say daaammmmm...

Another quiet nite on the astroid...but then it's always night, so that should be no surpise i guess...

Lying down basking in the glow of the control room lights a figure came into view from the teleporter. I look up, and there's Akoz...what's he doing here?



I stood up. He looked at me, and I looked back. For about a minute we just stared back and forth. I was hoping he would say something to break the ice, but at last I was met with the all too common now "lifescanner person to death" greeting. Come on people, look with your eyes! No need to scan my boxers fer crying out loud, nothing goes on down there! Lest Akoz of all people would know...

Also begain playing with a new toy. Picked up a cheap fap 50 from the auctions, tested it out a bit. It heals quite nice! Heals alot higher than the other fap I carry around, although I still need to skill with it for maxuim potential. Perhaps a bunny medic in the making?
